If she really is allergic to lamb, then yes, there's a good chance she will be allergic to any part of the lamb. Meat, organ, bone. Lamb is lamb.

However, have you tried feeding her JUST lamb? I saw you had bad results with k9 instinct, but look at that ingredient list. There's veggies, fruit, eggs, supplements...It's not JUST lamb. She could theoretically have been reacting to any one of those non-lamb ingredients.

Throwing up lamb tripe is not necessarily an indication of an allergy to lamb. Allergies usually manefest through skin problems...Hair loss, red skin, itchy skin, facial swelling. Not vomiting. The vomiting could have been that she's not used to lamb, especially the tripe. If there were other ingredients, it could have been that. At the very worst it could be a food intolerance, which is when the GI system just doesn't agree with a certain food. That leads to vomiting and sometimes diarrhea.

I'm not sure what other lamb items you've tried or if there are any other cases that lead you to believe she's allergic to lamb. But what I would do to find out for sure is try feeding her a small chunk of lamb meat with her meal. Just meat. If you have her on proteins now that you KNOW she does well on and is not allergic to, doesn't make her throw up or have diarrhea, then feeding her just one little chunk with a meal could really tell you something.

If she's been doing fine for weeks on her food, and then you feed her a small bite of lamb, and she throws up, or has diarrhea tomorrow, or has a break out or red skin....Then you know for sure something is up and she shouldn't eat lamb.

This is honestly one of the biggest perks to doing prey model raw with an allergy kid. If you buy each ingredient separate, each protein and organ separate, it's much, MUCH easier to tell what exactly is triggering issues. You might think she's allergic to something in a k9_instinct formula, another commercial raw patty, or in a kibble, but you never know because there's a handful of other ingredients. And sometimes preservatives and other additives.

If she is ok on ovine tripe, then she should be absolutely fine with lamb. I've honestly never heard of a dog being allergic to the baby animal but not the adult. A lamb is sheep, and sheep is sheep. I betcha it was something else in the K9 Instincts lamb formula that was causing it.

Once she is stable on a food, then yes, they can feed her a tidbit of lamb meat. See what happens.

Only pooing once every few days is totally normal for a raw fed dog. You have to remember that there are no fillers. They digest the vast majority of the meat, and what comes out is what is truly waste. Not ingredients that they can't digest or can't use, like with a lot of kibbles. As long as her poo is normal in consistency, I wouldn't worry. She should be having small poos that are firm, but not super dry or crumbly.

Also, as far as the beef goes, just be sure you introduce slowly. Beef is one of the more richer meats, so it can cause GI upset in any dog. Small pieces at a time with meals she's used to.

She looks great Janine! Very fit and healthy girl :) Also glad to hear she is doing ok on the lamb so far! Hope she continues to do well....It'll be really great for you to be able to use lamb as another protein to keep her diet varied.

Is she ok with duck?

If so, duck feet are pretty awesome. They're boney pieces that are quick and easy to throw into any meal when you need to up the bone content a bit. I use chicken feet, but I know Jesse seems to be very sensitive to chicken, so duck is a good alternative.
