This is my beautiful boy "Gronk"...Avid Patriots fan here, if you couldn't tell, lol.

Got him from a littler of pups, the mom was a rescue, and no one knew what she was. The house/family he was with was not fit to have pups, so we now have the BEST addition to our family possible.

Any helpful hints would be awesome. He is 8 weeks old, fluffy body, hair is matted down on his head....

PS - Thats my daughter in the pic with him...think she loves him? LOL

Aww he is absolutely adorable! He looks younger than eight weeks though. :/ Although it is hard to tell at this age, it looks like he is going to be of smaller size. Can't tell exactly what breed mix.

You have an adorable pair of kids there ;)
The puppy's eyes look like they haven't been open long, so (unless the person told you exactly when they were born and/or they are very trustworthy) the puppy can't be eight weeks.

Here is a picture of my girl and her siblings at 8 weeks. They've lost their puppy fuzz and look more like little dogs than puppies.

Please don't think I'm being mean. I truly want to help. It is important to know a puppy's age that way you know what to expect behaviorally. The younger a puppy is when they move away from their mom, the more nipping and chewing you'll see. There are other things that the mother dog teaches, like dog to dog behavior.

I wish you the best of luck with your adorable new bundle of joy! and THANK you for rescuing him from a bad situation! :D

Hey guys, thanks all for your messages.

I got him at 5 weeks, which is probably around when this pic was taken. He will be 10 weeks this coming Saturday. The people who had him were not in a good situartion, and his teeth were all in so he couldnt eat off the mom anymore. i figured he was better off with us than with them, especially since they were so willing to give him away so early. he is amazing, so full of energy and life, and nipping, lol

he honestly looks the same now...not really much different. i found a picture online that looks EXACTLY like him, and it is saying chihauah/pomeranian mix....that seem correct to you guys, lol?

Do you have an older dog that can teach him things he needs to know, as a dog? 5 weeks is sooo young to be without the mother. Good luck with him.

So, so hard to tell at this age. Post more pics when he's older.

He's so cute! Good luck with the little guy!
