Hello, new member here.
We have a 12 week old goldendoodle and he became very ill an hour ago and vet is closed. The only possible thing i can think of is a plant that my daughter said he tried to chew one of the leaves. Here is a pic of the plants.

My daughter is only 7 so the time line may be off but he apparently threw up within 30 min of chewing, and is salivating excessively from the mouth. He hasnt moved other than when he repositions himself but has held his head up for long periods watching us.
I’m no expert, but if those are Poinsettia leaves (the fat ones), they can make a dog very sick, but probably not kill them.
Being that your Doodle is a young puppy, can you find a 24x7 emergency vet. If not, a teaspoon of H2O2 by mouth can make your dog throw it up.
Thank you, i have pics on multiple sites trying to identify them. He didnt swallow the leaf and he threw up twice within minutes of chewing it. I shot some activated charcoal mixed with water in his mouth and he seems to be doing better, he ate a small bowl of rice and is walking around some now as opposed to laying in the same spot gor a few hours.

Update, the puppy is doing much better. We mixed 2 capsules of activated charcoal with 2/3 cup water and used a childrens medicine syringe to inject water throughout his mouth and then in the back of his mouth so he swallowed it. With in 5 min he stopped salivating and was trying to sit up and within and hour he was walking around and eating rice and broth. Since he first ate hes been on several walks, running, jumping eating and drinking. Not 100% but pretty close.
