Looking for doggie parents that can lend some advice. Our beagle Rosie is an awesome dog but for the past few months almost nightly she has an accident in her crate. We moved her crate out of our room because we were not getting any sleep. We have tried everything. It’s like having a new born baby and we don’t know what else to try. The broken sleep is killing us! Is she acting out because she has anxiety being alone? Any advice would be helpful.

Yes this is very likely. Crating a dog, putting it in a small space, where they can’t move or do anything can be very harmful.

Didn’t you get enough sleep because she was crying all night? Shutting her out of your room won’t solve anything, you just ignore the problem and she will feel the same, if not worse by doing this. Getting a puppy is hard work, but you need to commit to it.

Does she have to be in the crate? What’s the reason for this? The accidents can be due to anxiety or that she isn’t housebroken.
