I advise everyone to make sure your dog or puppy is updated
on it's shots for the parvo. It is a horrible, deadly, contagious
disease and if it's not treated immediately, your dog will die.

Brought this up because my 4 mo. old poodle Maddie has it
now and I have to give her an IV 3 times a day to keep her
hydrated. It is not pretty...there is vomiting, bloody poop,
and cleaning up after her and checking on her all hours of the
day. My grandpa's girlfriend's 10 wk. old puppy died from
Parvo two days ago, and him and Maddie has never been
around each other..but I'm guessing I carried it home on my
shoes or something when I went and visited.

My other poodle, Scooter, is fine though and has been
vaccinated for Parvo a few times actually, but to be
extra cautious I sent him to stay with my mom for awhile
until Maddie pulls thorough and I can clean the entire house
and outside yard area with bleach and lysol...ugh.

Please Keep Maddie in your thoughts and prayers.:dog-cry:

Aww, get well soon, Maddie! I worked at an animal hospital years ago and parvo definitely isn't pretty, but I'm sure you're taking excellent care of her. ;)

Thank you, I am taking the best possible care of my little
girl as I can,Oh how I hope she is going to be alright...I know
it would literally tear me up inside if it killed her. :dog-cry:

I saw on the horse forum that Maddie didn't make and just wanted to say again that I'm so sorry for your loss. :dog-cry:
