Greetings! I have an English Springer Spaniel who is seven years old. We have been struggling with seborrhea for a long time. Right now he is having a flare but I don't want to take him to the vet because the meds they have given him don't work at all. They just cure any secondary infection he might have. I searched the web and found out that for oily seborrhea I need to use a combination of ingredients. So I started with Oxyderm and he has improved very much. But now he is losing hair...so I want to know what combinations of shampoos the other websites talk about. I read that I should bathe him first with a mild shampoo, then use e Oxyderm and then a rinse??? Thanks for any feedback you may provide. And why is he losing hair? Could it be that now the shampoo is drying his skin too much?
