need more information such as; any rashes, blisters, hair loss, nasal/eye discharge? There are so many things that can contribute to your lab having an odd smell most common are allergies, mange, infection, rolling in something undesirable and diet

1 Skin Infection is there - Like Dandruff recently attacked
Last 20 days it likes to sleep in water due to heavy temperature.

2.Huge air fall
3. Smell {teeth & Body}

Have the dog checked out by a Vet! Sleeping in water is not a healthy place for him and probably contributes to him having a bad smell.
