Hello all! In 5 weeks I will have a new Italian mastiff. He will be 8 weeks old when I bring him home. I'm going to crate train him. I start work at 7 am and work till 330. My plan is to wake up early and tire him out a little before I leave for work.

My girlfriend works from 10 to 6 and she will be putting him in the crate about a quarter after 9. We have someone stopping in at 12 to let the dog out every day. And if I end up working overtime he will stop by at 3 as well. Is this enough for the new pup or does he need to be let out more?

As long as you provide enough time when you are home for training, socialization, love, and play-time he should be just fine. Can't wait to see pics!!! Love Mastiffs.

Absolutely he will get nothing but attention while we are home. I am also taking 2 weeks off from work when he arrives. He will also go to puppy kindergarden when hes potty trained. Here are some pictures of him at 2 weeks old!! He is a cane corso. We are going to name him Roman.
