I adopted a 60lb, 2.5yr old spayed female black mouth cur mix from my county shelter about 3 months ago. When it's just me and my cat in my house she's a great, lovable dog. When my parents visit, it's another story. If I am not in her sight line, she is very aggressive towards my dad. She is also vicious towards other dogs that come into the house. I can't trust her with any other person or animal (besides my cat) in the house. She's very territorial as well. Any advice? My dad is terrified of her now, and I can't blame him. It's extremely difficult for them to come visit now.
