Poor Ezra is sick. I am taking him to the vet tomorrow morning. Until then, just seeing if anyone has any ideas.
We went camping this weekend. This week, he has been a little more itchy but I kept an eye on it. Yesterday, he developed a swollen face and mild swelling on his front paws/wrists and excessive itchiness that responded well to Benadryl and a bath. Today, my roommate reported he puked up bile a couple of times. He has maybe been drinking a little more yesterday but not noticeably today. He has been acting a little sadder than usual but nothing overly alarming. Standard I don't feel well behavior, but he is not that stoic. Still being obnoxious, though he was less interested in food at dinner which is fairly unusual.
He seems to maybe be having an allergic response but I don't know. My roommate's boyfriend did find a tick and pulled it off today. He was tested for tick borne illness at the end of January and was negative, but I will probably have him tested again. I live in Florida so tick diseases are fairly common but it isn't a Lyme hotspot.
Again, taking him to the vet in the morning. Just want to see if anyone has any ideas
