I rescued a 9 year old Papillon 2 months ago. I watched videos on how to bring him home, etc. He won't pee or poop in his playyard area of course, but after I take him outside to go potty, I give him house time and he goes around marking things. I immediately put him outside again and then back into his play yard but every time I try letting him play free range inside, he pees or poops again, even if I keep him on a leash. I think the prior owners had dogs. Do I need to remove the carpet?:headbash:
