My puppy is waddling on his back legs

I have had my dog for a couple months, and have notices that when he walks, his back hips sway/waddle more than stretching to walk. He went to the vet last month and they didn't mention anything, although it was not a s pronounced as it is now, but I don't know what could be wrong, or even if it is nothing to worry about.
He is about a year old and not overweight, he runs and plays fine, and is a crazy jumper, they don't seem to hurt him, and he stretches out on the floor frequently (he has a tendency to lay down with his feet stretched behind him), but I am unsure if this could show the beginning of a condition? Or just be my dogs normal walk.
