I had to put my best buddy down June 3rd and this book is makin my eyes well up. It starts out with his old Jack Russell dying and his feelings mirror mine exactly. I do like his writing style and it's hard to put down. I'm sure the rest of the book will be about the antics of Pete. I recommend it so far.

K31 Scout, so sorry about your Jack. It is so hard to describe the feelings you have when you lose your furry loved one. Just hits you like a truck! The book is funny and heartfelt, but there are some real lessons in there for anyone who
has loved--and lost :( a dog. Although I know what you are going through and how hard it is, it WILL get better with time. But know that your best buddy is with you right now and always will be. You just have to look... Big hug!
