Hello. I noticed about 2-3 weeks ago that my dog was biting his tail only when he knew I was around him. If I were hidden somewhere he never did it. But if I go play with him and then stop playing he bites his tail and spins. He is only doing that after I stop playing or petting or scratching him.
Does anyone have any ideea how can I stop him from doing this? I dont want him to harm himself.

Sounds like he's doing it for attention if he only does it when you stop doing something he likes. Can you distract him?

My puppy does this too! I think it is because of teething. I keep distracting him with chew toys. I googled what this could mean and got some scary results so ill be asking the vet as well.
