Ok, so about 8 months ago, I adopted Loki, my Labrador/GreyHound Mix. He's always been needy and loving and I honestly don't mind it. But, for some reason, for the past 2 weeks, he refuses to sleep in his bed that is placed out in the living room. He's never had an issue with this. However, lately the second my boyfriend and I close the bedroom door, he immediately starts crying and scratches the door so hard that he is chipping pieces off. We tried ignoring it...He doesn't stop. Last night he did that till 5:30AM. The only way he stops is if we let him on the bed to sleep ON TOP OF OUR HEADS. Why the sudden change in behavior? He gets so much attention.

It could be that something scared him at night while he was sleeping in his bed. My dog randomly started to HATE sleeping in his crate and would whine and bark in it until we started associating his crate with positive things. Maybe you can try feeding, giving him treats and his toys on his bed?
