My dog wouldn't leave my cat alone to the point that my cat swatted him and gave him a good claw to his nose. I didn't think much of it, since the dog wrestles with my other dog fairly often. But now he has a firm, round, raised spot on his nose. The top of it is white. It doesn't seem like an infection, because it doesn't smell and it doesn't leak gross yellowy stuff. It has bled before, and it does weep now and again. He has a history of cysts, but cysts don't usually come from bites, do they? There's a chance the cat didn't scratch him when he got swatted, and that the scratch was from something else in the yard (he likes to go digging and sticking his nose where it's not supposed to go). Does anyone have any idea what it is? He's going to the vet soon but I'm concerned and I want to make sure I can take care of it as soon as possible.
