I don't really work in other mediums no. My favourite is to use pencil. I have made a painting once of a golden retriever. It was really nice, but paint is just more expensive then pencil. And I feel like I have pencil more under control than a paintbrush.

I love the shading technique you used in the background of the koala drawings to give them more depth. I've used that technique before in some of my architectural drawings. Have you ever worked with felt tip pens? I used to prefer pencil but now I love my pens. They give great contrast!
