I got an awesome opportunity to get a picture today of Melek that is the same as 2 months ago. So I show you a before and now pic of my growing baby boy.

Aww. The way he is curled up reminds me of one of my childhood dogs. My dog used to nap against the rungs under our dining room chairs. It dawned on me that he wanted a bed. I found him a square cardboard box and lined it with a square latch hook rug I had received as a kit for Christmas. (The rug was a real sacrifice; it had taken me several weeks of work to fill in the pattern.) We put the box under the end table next to my dad's favorite chair. For the rest of his life my dog would climb into his box every evening and nap there while my dad read.

Cuteness!
That reminded me of when my Golden was a puppy, she would curl up inside my headboard, so she could get as close as possible, when I went to sleep.
Now, at almost 4 yrs old, only her head still fits, but she still gives it a shot...
