I have been involved with several companies that have developed and marketed successful products in the health food industry, ranging from liver detox to a wonderful product that helps improve the ability of children with autism to function better. I am now using my expertise in research, to document commercial dog food’s deficiencies with the intent of developing a product that improves a dog’s ability to digest everyday dog food. After about year of extensive study, my conclusions are dramatic, commercial dog food’s effects on a dogs health is analogous to smoking on humans. The pet food industry’s marketing is actually more egregious. The different brands have successfully developed the notion in the consumer that dog food choices are about what type of health benefits you are pursuing.
