So I've been lurking on DF for quite a while now, and decided that I would like to start posting 
I'm a freshmen at the University of South Carolina, studying Psychology as my undergrad in the hopes of pursuing a PHD in Animal Behavior, and, eventually, becoming an Applied Animal Behaviorist.
I have two dachshunds, a 13 year old black and tan miniature male named Fetch, and six year old solid black standard female named Susie. While Fetch is my rock solid dog, (by some stroke of luck, and through no aid on my part) unphased by large crowds, noises, strange people, dogs, or really anything, I've been working with Susie for quite some time on reactivity, mainly towards strange people and dogs, and the wealth of information on this forum has been instrumently in the improvement we've seen, although we still have a ways to go!
