@revolutionrocknroll: We're in Gatlinburg, TN. We're staying in the National Park in the mountains. There's more cabins around us than I'd like, but it's still beautiful. First vacation I've been on that didn't involve visiting someone in Michigan.

As for all the vending machine comments--it truly is awesome.
I found this one at one of the Oasis stops along the Illinois highway, they're pretty hard to miss if you're ever going that way. I regret not getting a better picture, but the place was so crowded on a Saturday at lunch time and I wasn't going to risk getting a full shot. They had tons of emergency supplies--flea/tick preventative, a tick remover, a leash, a brush, treats, food, basically anything that you may have forgotten. I actually got this training pouch for five bucks!
It was dark when we got here, so I don't have any pictures yet--but I will today! I also managed to get a picture of the sunset over the mountains, it was so beautiful.

I love it! Even on the gloomy days the mountains are awesome.
It's also super pet friendly. I still can't believe they let dogs walk around the Island carnival area!
