I have a Jack Russel Terrier who lately has been having difficulty making it through the night without urinating (sometimes even if we just leave for an hour). We thought that since he's getting older, it might not be that big of a deal, but this morning we awoke to 2 large puddles of vomit (mostly bile and foam).

Could this be a more serious issue?

Attached is a picture.

How old is your dog?
The vomit looks like hunger pukes. Did he eat last night? What's his appetite been like lately?

He's on the order of 16. Not sure how much he ate but he had about half a bowl of food this morning. He's been eating normally lately (although I suspect he had some food scraps after a dinner a few nights ago)
