This is for Amo my 4 month old white gsd mix. I notice sometimes he throws up for what seems like no reason. When he does its always just greenness like he hasn't eaten all day and he's just that hungry.

The issue is that my dogs are free fed! There's literally (using the word correctly) ALWAYS food in that bowl. When he throws up I put food in front of him and he eats and is fine.

Why is he waiting so long to eat? I even switched up the flavor but he doesn't seems to dislike any food really

Is he at a good weight? Does he only eat when you put the food in front of him? Maybe stop free feeding and do set feedings. I'd want to make sure my puppy was eating the right amounts. A vet visit wouldn't hurt either. One of the biggest problems I see with free feeding is that it's harder to keep track that your animal is eating. I don't free feed my dogs or cats, even when I did feed kibble. Hopefully doing set feedings will help, or snacks throughout the day. Does he vomit at the same time every day or is it more random?
