My dogs area looks a bit red as he has been licking there more than usual. Is this normal or should I take him to the vet? Anyone had something similar happen? Picture attached.. may be sensitive to view to some.

Okay thanks that’s what I’m thinking. Going to buy him one of those colors and give it a week, hopefully it subsides.

I would not put a collar on him it will stop him from keeping it clean, just keep an eye on it as @JoanneF has suggested.
