Here in Australia it depends who rents out the house. Some will, some wont. Some only allow in the backyards, others allow the dog in the home. I think it depends who has been burnt before and who likes dogs. There are some filthy pigs that never clean up after the dog if they toilet in the home, males can tend to mark walls, carpet, you name it. Some have flea riddled dogs and the fleas end up right through the carpet.
