She was spayed Friday, I'm a bit concerned about how her incision looks, I know the red spots around it are from razor burn but I don't know what the yellow bumps are? (They look like pimples?) She wears an e collar all the time so she has never licked it..

She acts normal, eats, drinks, uses the restroom, wants to play..

Earliest I can take her to the vet is Friday unless it's an absolute emergency.

I'll be honest with you, that looks pretty awful! She does appear to have some "pimple" like pustules around and right on her incision which in and of itself could just be ingrown hairs from the pre-op shave.....HOWEVER....if you look closely at the incision itself, it appears to be opening up (in medical terms this is called dehiscence). It a fairly serious post-operative complication where the incision literally ruptures open. This can be caused by a number of factors, one of which is underlying infection.

I would get her to the vet sooner than later for a concrete diagnosis as none of us can diagnose from pictures or descriptions. But, if this was my dog, I too would be very concerned.

Please let us know how your girl makes out!
