I just rescued a puppy what kind of dog is he ?

We rescued him as he was a tray covered in, filth, blood, and super skinny. He’s been with us about two weeks. I called my vet he has an appointment coming but I was wondering what kind of dog he was. The vet will definitely tell me but the appointment is still some time away so I was wondering if any one could offer insight. I was told most likely husky or Shiba Inu husky mix ? Also he’s perfectly healthy and nothing is wrong with him had an over the phone consultation with his vet. He’s flourishing here.

I’d say that the Shiba Inu husky mix would be fairly accurate. Defiantly Husky mix. How much does he weight?

He’s about 25 pounds at the moment not super accurate because I weighed him here at home

Thanks for the help! I didn’t Ben know that was a cross breed. I’m willing to bet that’s exactly what he is after doing a bunch of reading up on them he has the majority of those character traits and has seemingly latched on to my oldest daughter from the moment they met they are inseparable!

The face looks like Shiba Inu, to me; the coloring and ears look Husky. I certainly wouldn't rule out Pomsky, however. A genetics test by Embark or Wisdom might tell you something.
