My dog has been diagnosed with a hyperextended wrist. She is being treated for nasal cancer and is ten years old, so we are not going to do surgery on her wrist. The vet recommended that we buy a device online to support her wrist when we go for walks or hiking, but the vet didn't recommend what kind to get or where to get it. Has anyone ever bought one of these? If so, what did you get exactly and where did you get it?

Thanks!

A friend has a dog with a similar condition, uses a brace similar to this one. Not sure the exact brand he has.

Therapaw's Carpo-Flex Sports Wrap for Dogs

If the dog is dragging it's foot when not braced, it can damage the claws over time. Might want to consider the glue on nail caps if this is the case. Can find them cheap at most pet stores or online.
