I recently got a 12 week old
Huskimo puppy from a couple on Staten Island New York. He’s gorgeous, and completely white. He seemed like the perfect pup. The night I brought him home, I thought all was well. It wasn’t until the next day he refused to look when I called for him and hid under my bed most of the day. He growled when I tried to pet him and shakes and quivers and hides in tight spaces. He’s eating, drinking and pooping fine. He refused to walk on the leash. Or just be around anyone in general. I spoke to the original owner and he finally came clean about my pup not being around anyone but his immediate family and his siblings he was born with. I’m trying to get him to socialize with my family AT LEAST but he isn’t budging. I’m going at his pace. I’m giving him space. I’ve bought treats. What can I do to gain his trust?
