I picked up my 9 wk. old siberian husky pup this past Friday. She is great in her crated during the day with the door open. At night she howls like crazy. I tried ignoring her telling her no if a firm voice but nothing works. While I finally fell asleep my partner decided to sleep in the chair next to her crate and she slept well. I think this will create problems. Next night tried leaving her door open and I kept my door open. She came to our bedroom door and when she saw me went back to her kennel and slept the night. Is this a bad thing to start or should I persist on the kennel closed at night. When I leave for work the kennel has to be closed and she starts howling. What should I do?
