My sweet rescue terrier mix, Sandy, has pointy ears with a Henry’s Pocket (see pics). I was wondering how to best care for/keep her ears clean. She loves to bury and track, so I’m constantly cleaning her face. Is there a specific way to clean the ears, and any specific to use that’s safe?

Rather than liquid like water, a small amount of baby oil on a cotton pad will remove moderate dirt and small amounts of ear wax - it's fine for maintenance cleaning. Very cute dog btw!

I try to do my dog's ears when I bathe him. He's not a big fan of us digging around in there so you can only do so much. If someone else has a better idea I'd like to hear it too.
My dog HATES baths. So hopefully the swabbing technique below will work so she isn’t pissed off at me for a while. Haha!
