We want to switch our dogs to a new brand of kibble, because the old brand has apparently raised their prices. However, we only have about two full days' worth of the old food left. Would it be too quick to switch foods over three days or so? I think we have enough to do 75/25 on day one, 50/50 on day two, and 25/75 on day three. Usually we would spend 5-10 days on a switch. I'm trying to avoid buying more of the old food, but I want to make sure it won't upset their stomachs.

How fast you can switch tends to be dog dependent. Some you don't have to transition, nothing upsets their tummy. Most 3 to 5 days is slow enough, but others need a week or more or their tummy will get upset.

If the new food is close in ingredients to the old food then you have a better chance that a fast transition won't upset their stomachs, if it's something completely different, say going from Purina Dog Chow to Orijen or vice versa, then their tummy is more likely to get upset.
