Let me try to describe Cookie's life so that you get the full picture.

Cookie's moved with me, through 5 different houses in the 4 years I've had her.
We live in a home with roommates,
Cookie takes trips to places and is very socialized,
We've had our 2nd dog Ginger for almost a year,
Cookie and Ginger stay in our bedroom when no one is home, They aren't crated,

My bf lives here too, He is here a lot when I am not, the dogs act normal with him.

When alone, Cookie doesn't destroy things or act out, but she will not respond to other people calling her to play. She doesn't want to do anything. I knew this was a form of separation anxiety, I am thankful that it is not destructive.

But when I leave her anywhere that is not in the home, she acts out by crying very high pitched barking and sometimes panting, for example, they stayed at my bf parents home(one of her previous homes) for a few minutes while we took a trip to the store, and while we were gone, she squealed and panted and would not respond to my bf's mother calling her to give her attention.
Here is a picture of her while we left her at my bf's parents house:

Is this anxiety something I can help?
