My baby is 12 years old. She’s a bit of a “mixer”, so far as breed goes, but Kelpie is her predominant. She hurt herself a month ago n hasn’t been able to walk properly, let alone run, which is what she has always done. I have taken her to the vet, first time in 12 years. Meloxicam was prescribed (anti inflammatory). It’s run out. My question is...Is Naprosyn an ok substitute? Also Panadeine Forte or Paracetamol? Any advice/suggestions would be much appreciated

I should add... I live and work remotely at the present time. I’m just trying to get her through a short period of time until we get back to civilisation

We would strongly advise against giving any non prescription medications unless specifically agreed by your own vet, for your own dog, whose history is known to the vet.
