So, I just adopted my new best friend, he's about 7 months old (5/25/15) and his name is Benson! I've longed for a Boston Terrier for several years and the time was finally right. So far, he's incredible. Couldn't ask for a better pup, but here's my question. What is he? All of his shot records and previous vet statements say Boston Terrier, but his nose is not smooshed in, everything else about him is Boston however. Any ideas? He is a real dark brindle and white. Regardless, he's perfect, so far I've heard he is Pitbull/Boston (but he's way small for that mix I think) Chiuaua Boston and Brat Terrier. Anyway, enjoy Sir Benson.

How big is he? He certainly looks like he's got Pit Bull/Am Staff in him to me. Chihuahua sounds like a stretch, he doesn't look to have any Chi features to me at all. He would also very very small, like under 20 lbs, probably even under 15 if he was a Boston/Chi mix.

Did you get him from a breeder or did you rescue him? (No one will judge you if you bought him I can promise you that, we are open minded.)

I could see some kind of bully mix in him. Not all pit mixes are big, many are much smaller than many people realize. The really big 'pit bulls' often have another breed mixed in, like mastiff.

Many bully breeds and their mixes are only 30-50 lbs, unless mixed with something larger such as mastiffs, labs, etc. I could see bully x boston or something similar. How much does he weigh at 7 months?
