Hi to everyone in the forum,
About three weeks or so we brought home a Cocker Spaniel puppy. He was 10 weeks at the time. Last week we vaccinated him with his last parvo shot. We had been training him inside with pee pads until he was able to go outside with his full vaccinations. We have been very successful with the inside pee pad training keeping him on a constant feeding schedule. My questions is regarding outside potty training. We made the first attempt yesterday evening to begin his training outside but his stool seemed way softer than usual. Does anybody know if it can be due to nerves/change of habit. He does seem to tremble and look disoriented. Keep in mind that he has been indoors full time until yesterday. What is the best way to go about outside potty training to make it a smooth transition for him? We leave in a apartment building in the middle of San Francisco ,and our goal is to slowly weane of pee pads to the point we do not have them lying around in the floor.
Thank you for your help in advance.
