We adopted this sweet little Cairn mix from a ranch in the desert that rescued him from a homeless encampment. He is adorable, so scruffy, and surprisingly well mannered. The vet thinks he's about 2, and obviously part Cairn. But there's something else there, and no one can quite put a finger on it. He's 19-20 pounds, so probably something larger than a cairn, and his tail is unique the way it curves up - when he wags his tail he brushes his back with it. His ears stand straight up and his reddish coat is mixed with cream with some dark hair on his ears and tail. His nails are red, never seen that before. Anyone have any guesses? My daughters say he looks like a fox or coyote :) we just love him so much but are very curious what makes him who he is... Thanks for any responses!
