I was also going to suggest Gertie.

When I was looking for names for my Boston Terrier I looked at lists of popular 1920's women's names- there's something about old fashioned names for smuched face dogs that really tickles me!

Names on my list then:
Eve
Evie (the one I chose)
Darcy
Rosie
Roxy
Gertie/Gertrude
Hattie
Lucy
Lottie
Charlotte/Charlie

My old Boston was named Darla- that's definitely a name I've had trouble beating when naming other dog.

~Babette
~Shilo (I had a dog named Shilo once...named her after the Neil Diamond song...otherwise it's spelled Shiloh)

---------

Stormy
^would be a good dog name too.

Suzie. :) Always seemed like a good name for a Pug to me.
