What is this?! She’s constantly licking and hardly lets me look down there, not sure if it’s something I should worry about. I’ve always noticed discoloration but just now noticed the black buildup. I tried washing and it doesn’t come off. Help! She’s a pointer mix I rescued as a puppy about 5 years ago. She is fixed.

Are far as my experience goes with bitches, this is a natural part of her cycle. Looks like she is coming into season. Please don't try to wash it off, you will just make her sore and unhappy.
