I have an older dog (10 years old) that has started developing tumors on his underside. He has already had two removed this year and has developed another. This last one has started bleeding over this last Sunday (10/18) & will see the vet Friday, but might not be able to get it removed til next week. It bleeds during the day while I'm gone sporadically. What should I do between now and surgery day? I'm concerned about him losing too much blood, can the tumor be the cause of a lot of loss or not typically? Thanks in advance

Why is it bleeding? Is the skin rubbing raw and then bleeding, is it ulcerating and bleeding, is it itchy and the dog licking scratching it causing it to bleed?
