Help a dog in need.

Hello and thank you for taking a moment to read this. I am doing everything I can to try and help a little dog named Dexter. When Dexter was less than a year old his first owner decided that he didn't want Dexter any more so after not feeding him for a long time, the owner broke Dexter's two back legs and threw him in the trash. Luckily Dexter was found, brought back to good health and now he has a loving home. Unfortunately Dexter has recently lost his eyesight, just a month after his 6th birthday. He has seen his regular vet as well as a specialist and it turns out that he has a 95% chance of getting his sight back with surgery but the surgery will cost $5,326 dollars. I have started a "go fund me" page in hopes of finding some generous people to help save his eyes.
