Hello. Mourning loss of dog

Hello to All. I just found this sight tonight. I may be doing this wrong. So any advice as to, how to navigate the site and what area to post in would be very much appreciated. My first question I'm interested in asking. Is about the loss of a dog through euthanasia and of dealing with it. Making sure if I did the right thing. Thanks

Hey there I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved dog, my heart goes out to you at this terrible time. What was there name? My doberman died jan14 suddenly at 6 years old and it was a massive shock everyday I still cry but it's no consolation to you but, very slowly, you can learn to smile at all the good times you had with your pal. When did you find out how poorly your dog was? Maria.
Hello,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your pet.
Hi Mike. My condolences on having to put the dog down. I hope you won't try to second guess your decision here too much. It is always a hard decision to make, but if the dog is suffering, and cannot logically be helped, then it needs to be done.
It is one of the hardest things I've had to do, and I've had to do it several times.:(
Hi Mike, sorry for your loss :huddle: Could you give us a little more information, like what was the problem with your dog, how long had you had him/her for, do you have any other pets? Having a dog euthanised is never easy, but it's often an inevitable side of pet ownership I'm afraid. I'm sure you will have doubts as to whether you have done the right thing, but I'm sure your vet will have assessed the situation before taking such a drastic step.
This is a friendly site, you can ask any question you like, there will usually be someone who has had a similar experience. As to how to navigate the site, just take a look at the 'menu' that will give you an idea of where to post certain messages & read a few in each to also determine where best to post, but no one minds if you post in the wrong place. I look forward to hearing more from you. :)
