So first and foremost - introductions.
I am 17 years old and I have a German shepherd who is 2 years old. My sister owns a Yorkipoo mutt that is 8 months old. We got my German shepherd, Ares, when he was 8 weeks old during the pandemic. I personally trained him (no classes due to Covid and wow have you seen those prices) since he was a puppy and, not to toot my own horn, but I think I did a pretty good job. He's socialized (at the time we got him we lived in an apartment so he was able to play with the neighbor dogs) and he listens pretty well. He does pull when we go on walks and he also wants to play with every dog he sees, but I think that's his only downside.
Our second dog, Goliath we got when he was only three days old in 2021. We sort of, unofficially fostered his mom (some sort of poodle mix) who was pregnant and had five little healthy babies who we took care of. My aunt wanted to keep two puppies and the mom and take them to South Carolina and we let her. We kept the three other puppies and when the two others were given away, we kept one fat puppy - Goliath. My older sister is the "mom" and I did my best to train him but Yorkipoo's aren't as easy to train as German shepherds.
