Hi....I just changed my dog over to Rachael Ray Zero Grain Dog Kibble - he absolutely loves it, but I noticed his stools are very soft & alot more often -

Has anyone noticed this with a change-over, I did it gradually, but maybe not long enough?

Has anyone tried or had any issues with RR Zero Grain?

Thanks!:)

How fast did you switch him over?

How long have you been feeding it?

There's several formulas of the No Grain, which are you feeding?

Some dogs do best with a very gradual change, especially if the old food was one that was loaded with fillers. By very gradual I mean 2 or 3 weeks.

Sometimes a dog will slowly adjust to the new food and if the owner keeps feeding it the dog will start doing better, but some dogs simply do not tolerate the new food and no amount of time will help.

Some dogs simply do best with grains in there diet.

If you switched to a new protein, like if you were feeding chicken and now are feeding salmon, the dog may not do well on the new protein. Again sometimes time will help, other times it won't.
