We will be flying to Europe in the summer for 2 weeks, but we won't be able to take her or rather don't want her to fly in the cargo area. She will be 1-year-old by then.
I'm working from home right now, so she is used to being with me all day. Maybe once a week, we would leave her home alone for a few hours, usually not more than 3 hours. We are planning to have a sitter watch her, undecided if at our house or at the sitter's home. The question, how do I train her to be ok/less upset when we are gone? We have not booked the tickets yet, so I did not look for a sitter yet, but for sure would have a meet and greet and trail day. Anything else?

If it was my dog, I'd get her very used to the sitter with multiple visits before you go, including overnights.
