a bacterial infection. Nothing too serious, the vet is hopeful that the ointment for the mange will take care of it. As long as it stays in the one spot he will be good to go, if it spreads it will be time to consider a different treatment like Ivermectin. His fecal showed nothing serious but a lot of bacteria growth. Of course his brothers are focused on his little sore from the skin scraping but Glacier wouldn't notice if a leg was hanging out, hes such a happy guy.

This goo is gross.

I hope this clears up and doesn't spread, his eyes look like they may have mange going on...vet said to watch the hairless patches and if they grow its mange. Keep your fingers crossed that its not!

Bubby had the same thing :/ I hated the stuff we had to put on him. I also gave him pills that made his fur shiny, and that kinda sped up the process. He still has a few scars though, nothing serious. I hope he turns out alright ;)
