Our sweet Lily is having continuous ear infections. I clean her ear and apply the medication the vet subscribes (Surolan drops) which tends to clear it up only to only come back within weeks. To me, her ear is frequently itchy and has a yellow flakiness two it with yellow pus as well. Added some pics. I think it's recurring yeast but not sure how to eliminate this. It's not a food allergy as we went down that road before and she now eats Royal Canin Hypoallergenic food only. Any advice or help to eliminate this issue would be appreciated.

Ear infections can be horribly stubborn, sometimes a deep canal clean under GA is needed.

If you think it is yeast, you could try cutting right back on carbohydrates in her diet, as these are what yeasts feed on.

Has you vet ever done an ear cytology? This is sent out to a lab to determine what medication is needed to treat the infection.

Dogs can have issues with/sensitivities to anything in their diet including 'hypoallergenic' foods.
