Poor pup, he's lucky to have found you!
His posture does look somewhat abnormal, but he may yet grow out of it - especially if he gets good nutrition and appropriate exercise. I'd probably ask the vets about supplements because he could be calcium or phosphorus deficient (they usually supplement these in puppy formulations because they're used a lot in growth). As for exercise, at his age, he should be getting about 35 minutes twice a day - but you'll probably want to confirm with the vet whether there are any limitations to what's appropriate.
