I am working on a medical explanation for my dog's resource guarding, but I'd like to know how I can make training fun for him? I've always rewarded retrieving (he's part lab so retrieving was always fun) so I've noticed when he wants attention, he'll bring me his highest value toys and chews, which I take as huge flattery because he guards those things from dogs and strangers. So, obviously, this game is fun because he usually gets the toy back immediately after he gives it up, he also gets a treat often. But what are other "games" that could help his RG? Maybe some that I could incorporate other people and MAYBE dogs too?
