I haven’t heard of that but I switched to a natural flea and tick preventative from the brand Earth Animal. I use their internal powder and I haven’t found a flea or tick on my dog since I’ve been using it (1 year). I’ve seen lots of negative side effects from Front Line in dogs. But the purple could be from an ingredient. I have used K9 Ear Solutions Dog Ear Cleaner in the past and it has a purple color to it from the ingredients.
I think I read that fleas developed a resistance to Frontline and that's when Frontline Plus was introduced (in the UK anyway). Buy the purple side effect isn't something I gave heard of.
I used to use frontline about 10 years ago and then a lot of fakes got onto on the market and the fleas got resistant to it so I stopped using it ..but purple fur????
No I've never heard of that are you sure that you got a genuine product?
Have used frontline for years, but never had any discoloration of fur or hair. Did you get your frontline from your Vet? If so, be sure he or she knows about this, and contacts the manufacturer. Hope you didn't wind up with counterfeit medication.
